Fostering Conversations on Diversity, Inclusion with Congressional Leadership

The Next 100 Coalition, a project of the Keystone Policy Center, is working to foster a more diverse and inclusive national parks and public lands system. In support of this, the Coalition held a roundtable discussion this week with Congressman Raul Grijalva of Arizona, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Natural Resources, to share members’ perspectives on issues threatening equity, expanded access, and participation in America’s public lands — including proposed fee increases to access national parks and reductions in national monuments.

Keystone facilitated and led the discussion, which included Next 100 Coalition members GreenLatinos, Hispanic Access Foundation, and The Praxis Project, as well as representatives from Earthjustice, Green 2.0, Hip Hop Caucus, and Sierra Club.
